నరసింహ క్షేత్రాలు-ఖమ్మం జిల్లా
ఈ టపా లో జిల్లాల వారిగా నరసింహ క్షేత్రాలు ఒకదాని తర్వాత ఒకటి ప్రచురితం అవుతాయి ఒక నెల రోజుల పాటు. మనకి తెలియని యెన్నో క్షేత్రాలు తెలుస్తాయి అని ఆశిస్తూ ఒక చిన్న ప్రయత్నముగా ఈ టపా.

1)Sri Yogananda Jwaala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy
Sri Yogananda Lakshmi Narasimha – the “Kshetra Palaka” of this Holy temple town Bhadrachalam. He is also famous as “Bobbara Narasimha”. The Deity was settled on a hill rock opposite to Rama temple facing western direction at the bank of holy river Godavari. The god having four hands armed with Shankhu and Chakra on two hands and the rest two in yoga mudra – adorned with Sri Lakshmi Ammavari golden neck chain. The history depicts that the god was found in deep river water at Papi-hills some centuries ago. In those days the main transport facility from this temple town Bhadrachalam to Rajamandri was water transport and they used to go by launches only and while passing through Papi-hills the devotees had a bitter experiences that their launch was made to drop at Papi-hills when they perform pooja and broke coconut with devotional spirit, then the launch would start functioning without any interruption.
On one fine day, a devotee at Papi-hills enthusiastically desired to know the power hidden in it to stop the launches and engaged swimmers to trace it out. After a long search, they could trace out the idol of Sri Narasimha Swamy and a big sound alarmed with Omkaranadam. Thus the idol of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha was also called as “Bobbara Narasimha”.
That devotee brought the idol to Bhadrachalam and placed on a hill opposite to Ramalayam and made “Prathishta”. He placed a golden chain of Sri Lakshmi when he found the idol was with Sri Lakshmi.Here the people are in strong belief that the deity is a powerful god and relieve from all miseries when they put faith on him.

2)Stambhadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple,
The name of the town Khammam is derived from the name of a local hill called Stambhadri which has an ancient temple of Narasimha Swamy on its top. This temple is believed to have been existing since Treta Yuga. The name of the town, Stambhadri, later became Kambhadri, Kambham mettu, Khammam mettu and finally, Khammam when it became the district headquarters. The town is located on the banks of a river called Munneru which is a tributary of the Krishna River.

3)Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple,
There is a temple dedicated to Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in the town, opposite to the hill-fort, It is stated that "it was constructed two hundred years ago by the local Vaisnavas of Vaikhanasa sect. Chandulal, a minister of Nawab Sikandar Ja Bahadur, the third Asafja of Hyderabad (1808-1843 AD), gifted ten acres of wet land to the priestes of the temples for offering 'naivedya' etc. to the Lord. The Lord also has a few lands at Gollapalli, Teldarpalli and Kishtapuram village, which are near Khammam."

4)Panakala Narasimha Swamy Temple,
The tradition relating to the temple is as fllows. About two hundred years ago, it was a big village with a hundred families of Vaishnavas and Smartas. It was then known as Vanandulapatnam. One day, lord narasimha appeared in the dream of a Muslim and revealed that he manifested on a hillock, near sheetampet village. The saheb approached the land-Lord, whose family was known as "Gaddamvaru" and revealed the where about of the Lord. Then the land-lord constructed a temple." A Muslim made a gift of 200 acres of land for offering panakam(jaggery water)as Naivedya (food offering) to the god.

నాదొక ఉడుత సాయం...
ఖమ్మంజిల్లా లోనే... వీటికంటే ప్రముఖమయిన, పురాతనమయిన ,చాలా మహిమగల, నరసిం హ స్వామి గుడి 'ఏనుకూరు మండలం "గార్లఒడ్డు" లో ఉంది'. ఇది ఖమ్మం-కొత్తగూడెం ప్రధాన రహదారికి ఆనుకొనే తల్లాడకు,ఏనుకూరుకు మధ్యలో ఉంటుంది. ఇక్కడ వెలసిన ఆ స్వామి స్వయంభువుడు. గుడికూడా చాలా విశాలముగా,ప్రశాంతంగా వుంటుంది. ఈ మద్యనే కొన్ని మార్పులతో ఆధునీకరించారు కూడా..
